What We Believe: Seventh’s Doctrinal Standards
We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the infallible and inerrant Word of God and our supreme rule of faith and conduct. We utilize in subordinatefashion certain faithful summaries of their teaching, such as the ecumenical statements of the faith (e.g. the Apostles™, Athanasian, and Nicene Creeds), and more specifically the Three Forms of Unity:The Belgic Confession (1561), the Heidelberg Catechism (1563), the Canons of the Synod of Dordt (1619). We also acknowledge the value of the Westminster Standards (1647).
