The Gospel of John (9): The Heart of Christ
Rev. Paul van Engelenhoven shares this glimpse into the heart of Christ. In John 4:27-38 Jesus explained, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish his work.” As we live lives imitating Christ, we remember “We are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
The Gospel of John (8.1): The Seventh Husband
The love of Jesus Christ for sinners is revealed in the story of the Samaritan woman at the well. Rev. Paul van Engelenhoven explains the unusual request, the unusual offer, and the unusual invitation. When the woman remarked, “I know the Messiah is coming,” Jesus replied, “I who speak to you am He.” John 4:1-30

The Lord Our Keeper
Psalm 121:1-8 teaches us the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, is the only one who can guard us and preserve us forever. Rev. Paul van Engelenhoven describes the Keeper of our soul, the Keeper of our ways, the Keeper who never sleeps, and the Keeper that is ever near! “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called…
The Gospel of John (5): For God so Loved the World
Why does God provide a means of salvation for sinners? Rev. Paul van Engelenhoven uses John 3:16 to display the love of God for his children: the essence, the display, and the invitation. Be amazed at God’s free, righteous, and eternal love for those who believe. “For God so loved the world that he…
