Genesis 1:26-31, Jeremiah 17:9, and John 3:3-5 point out that we were created good but that mankind has fallen into corruption through disobedience which can only be remedied through the spiritual new birth. Rev. Paul van Engelenhoven describes will versus nature and the birth, fall, and rebirth of mankind. “Jesus answered him, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.'” (John 3:3)
