The Book of Ezekiel (20): Free Will or Everlasting Grace

The Book of Ezekiel (20): Free Will or Everlasting Grace

In Ezekiel 16:1-63 and Hebrews 8:8-12, God says He will judge Israel, but He also promises to establish a future covenant which will succeed in establishing Israel as God’s beloved People. Rev. Paul van Engelenhoven describes the blessings of God and the response of free will, the necessary response and outcome of free will, the new covenant of everlasting grace, and the sure outcome of everlasting grace.

“For thus says the Lord God: I will deal with you as you have done, you who have despised the oath in breaking the covenant, yet I will remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish for you an everlasting covenant.”
