John 15:1–11 describes the two types of branches and the fruit that results from those who are in Christ. Rev. Paul van Engelenhoven explains the audience, the message, and the application of this metaphor. “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
