The Gospel of John (65): A Word to Stand Strong

John 15:18–16:4 reminds us again that the servant is not greater than his master. Rev. Paul van Engelenhoven encourages Christians to stand strong even though the world has hated us in the past, hates us in the present, and will hate us in the future. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
