The Gospel of John (74): Free and Holy

In John 17:14-26, Jesus asks his Father to protect his followers from the forces of evil while they remain in the world. Rev. Paul van Engelenhoven describes the external battle against the world and against the evil one, and also the internal battle against indwelling sin. “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
