The Gospel of John (78): Peter’s Christian Transformation

John 18:1-27 and Acts 5:27-42 show the change in Peter from denying Jesus three times to professing that Jesus is Lord before the authorities. Rev. Paul van Engelenhoven describes Jesus and the two Peters; Jesus with the old Peter, but in the new Peter; Jesus’ transformation in Peter and in us. “Choose this day whom you will serve.… as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
