Wait for the Lord

In Psalm 27:1- 14, David reminds the believer to trust in the Lord at all times. Mr. Eduardo Martorano proclaims the assurance of trust and the necessity of trust. “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

Psalm 4:1-8 reveals David’s trust in God for salvation from sin. Mr. James Crampton describes David’s reliance on God for relief from distress, David’s counsel for the ungodly to seek the righteous sacrifice, and David’s source of joy and peace. “For by a single offering he [Christ] has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.”

Psalm 18:1-50 expresses David’s trust in the Lord: his help, his refuge, and his salvation! Mr. Eduardo Martorano presents David’s opening praise, God’s protection and loyalty, experiencing protection, and the closing praise. “This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.”

God and the Fool

In Psalm 14:1-7, the psalmist David displays the foolishness of people who reject God. Mr. Eduardo Martorano highlights the fool who resists God, the fool who resists God’s people, and the way God resists the fool. “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God.”
